KIMI SHOWING WITH FIFE ZSAMI SHOWING WITH THE GCCF ZIGGI SHOWING WITH TICA
I've been showing Bengals since 1999. My very first show was the Bengal CC show, which was also their inaugeral show, at that time, an Exemption show.
My kitten Bengie, did not enjoy himself, so his show career started and ended that day I'm sad to say! He did however, come First in his Open Class, Best of Breed and won a small trophy, so at least the judge liked meeting him, even if the feeling wasn't mutual!
Little did I know it, but that day started a passion that has never left me. The following year I entered my new kittens, Ziggi and Misti, in the South Western Counties CC show, and the rest is history.
My long association of showing with the GCCF was added to when I began showing with Fife in 2003. I used to take Ziggi to one show a year at that time, but since showing Zsami with that Registry I have entered most of them, even venturing across the pond to France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Austria and Southern Ireland. I have also had an on off relationship with Tica showing due to the fact that I personally feel that showing with Tica can be quite hard on the cats as they are shunted around from ring to ring for most of the day. Having said that, I enjoy Tica show days as I'm kept busy most of the time, though as I say, that style of showing doesn't suit every cat, who may prefer a more relaxed way of being shown.
