National Winner & Distinguished Show Merit
Typhast Zsami began his show career at the tender age of just seventeen weeks and took to it straight away.
He has certainly followed in Ziggi's paw prints, becoming a true Amabassador of the Bengal breed in a very short space of time.
The lovely thing about showing this cat is that he really loves his show days, he's a great traveller and he loves his hotel stays.
I'm feel very blessed to share my life with such a wonderful cat who enjoys my hobby as much as I do!
*Zsami has gained 15 titles, making him the Bengal who had gained the most titles in the UK*

SOUTHERN COUNTIES & CROYDON CC JOINT SHOWS
HELD IN READING ON THE 11th FEBRUARY 2017
A super show and Zsami was in a row of four Bengal neuters - all with a Typhast prefix. This is the show with the fabulous heart shaped rosettes, so I was delighted that he won one of them with his Croydon BOB. The Southern Counties BOB went to Julie and her lovely girl.

WOW - what can I say! The rosettes just got bigger and bigger as the day progressed! My lovely Typhast Zsami won the
OLYMPIAN CERTIFICATE, BOB, BEST FOREIGN NEUTER and finally topped it off with VERALL BEST FOREIGN!
The Essex CC 40th Anniversary show was a very long trek from Devon (11 hours driving in total),
but well worth it for Zsami to gain his third Olympian Certificate out of a large class of 10 beautiful cats.
Zsami really enjoyed his day and purred through it all with his usual laid back nature. He is such a pleasure to show,
so a big thank you to all the judges who thought so highly of him.

SOUTHERN COUNTIES CC & CROYDON CC JOINT SHOWS
HELD IN READING ON THE 2nd FEBRUARY 2016
After a five month break from showing, Kimi attended the Southern Counties and Croydon joint show, and boy was he pleased to be back on the show bench! He literally purred his way through the entire day after enjoying a lovely hotel stay the night before to refresh himself before meeting the judges. It was a very strong lineup for BOB but Zsami was awarded both of them for the two shows. The bonus was that he was also awarded Reserve Olympian out of a large class of eleven runners. I didn't enter him in any side classes.
This was a 'Valentine' show and the rosettes were stunning. Fabulous heart shaped rosettes that I'd never seen before and Zsami was lucky enough to win two of them. Also, I have never managed to win a rosette with an engraved metallic centre - until now!
I've said this before and I'll say it again - he is SUCH a pleasure to show!

BRISTOL CC & CAMBRIA CC JOINT SHOWS
HELD IN THORNBURY Nr BRISTOL ON THE 6th JUNE 2015
Zsami was entered in the Olympian class for both shows and with entries of 14 and 12 I knew that the competition from the
best of the best in the show was very stiff. Although he was unplaced he had a great comment from one of the
Judges Mrs Walpole who said that he was a 'close contender' - and I was delighted at that!
He was the winner of the Bengal, Ocicat and Snowshoe class at the Cambria and came second in the same class at the Bristol show.
The show was run by Team Robinson and I would like to thank them for the lovely thought of beautiful rosettes for the Olympian Contenders.

FELIS BRITANNICA AWARDS NIGHT
HELD IN CORBY ON THE 26th JANUARY 2014
The annual Felis Britannica Awards Night - the night on which we all get to know if our cat had won after the years pointed a totaled up.
Zsami did so well!
(But - Felis Britannica should have done better)
**FIRST PLACE CATEGORY THREE NEUTER**
Winning JUST a Certificate
Zsami was also supposed to have won a Trophy, but sadly this was not forthcoming from Felis Britannica, who gave the excuse that as I didn't attend the dinner to collect it, then I wasn't going to receive it!
As it cost me many hundreds of pounds to win the points to come top in the Annual Points Awards,
and it would have also cost in excess of £150 to attend the dinner (with hotel and fuel included),
I decided not to attend the evening, and have consequently been left feeling very disappointed.
It's shameful that a registry should treat someone with such disregard who has given support throughout the year by entering most of their shows, even though they are largely four hours drive away,
The fact that if you don't attend the Awards night, then you don't receive the trophy you and
your cat have worked so hard to win is not made public, makes it all the more upsetting.
Needless to say - Zsami, Kimi and I shall NOT be aiming to do well in the Annual Points Awards again.

WOW, WOW, WOW!!
There are some shows that you go to with no expectations whatsoever, and this years West of England show for me was one of them.
When I looked at my catalogue on exiting the show hall and saw that Zsami was competing against eight other cats of all breeds for the Olympian Certificate I was not surprised and thought no more about it as I headed into Thornbury for a coffee and a mooch around.
On my return I was stunned to find that Zsami had been awarded the Olympian Certificate and BOB!
What a massive shock considering that there were among the other contenders, three UK IGR’s and two OBIGP’s.
The Judge, Mrs Rainbow-Ockwell, who had never judged him before, wrote on the back of the Certificate ‘Wonderful Boy!’
I spoke to her later in the day and her praise for Zsami was overwhelming!
(No expectations for the day meant that I didn’t bother taking my camera, so thank you Claire Workman
for doing the honours for this super photo of Zsami and his MOST gorgeous OLYMPIAN rosette!)

ZSAMI GAINS THE TITLE OF:

Wow! What a fantastic year Zsami has been having so far!
The TickedTica show in Maidstone saw him achieve his fourth major title
this year in the form of Supreme Grand Champion Alter.
This was a title that i thought would be illusive for quite some time, so I'm glad
I made the decision to travel all the way down to kent for a one day show.
I was praying a a Best Cat, which was all he needed to Supreme and was elated
when he was awarded three! Not only that, but he finalled in all three rings
with a 2nd, 3rd and 4th Best Cat to add to his fantastic day.
It was such a lovely show, great venue and with a lovely atmosphere.
The TickedTica show team did a splendid job of making it such a successful show.
A massive thank you to all three UK Judges, Valerie Davidson, Jane Allen and Sue hart-Jones
for awarding him his finals and thinking so highly of him.

Well …. Zsami certainly surpassed himself at the Somerset and Cambria Cat Club’s joint show at the weekend.
He needed just one more Imperial Grand Premier Certificate to gain an Imperial title and ended up being awarded BOTH Certificates, one at each show!
This was one of the best surprises of my whole showing career.
A massive thank you to his Judges, Mrs Green and Mrs Marriott-Power for thinking so highly of him with such strong classes of seven and five other cats.
He was also Awarded Best of Breed at BOTH shows, so huge thanks go to Val Anderson-Drew and John Trotter.
Incidentally, it was Val Anderson-Drew who awarded him his very first Imperial Certificate, so a fitting end to his Imperial class entries.
Zsami now moves up to the Olympian Class. This will also be something new for me as well as Zsami, as the class wasn’t going when I was showing Ziggi.
I look forward to it with both trepidation and excitement, as he will be up against the very best of the
very best across all sections of the cat fancy, instead of just his own Foreign section.
It was a very special day for a very special cat, and I’m just bursting with pride - and as you can see, I think he might be too!!!

What a lovely show this was! It was a joint cat show. The Suffolk and Norfolk show combined with the World Cat Show.
It was part of a whole weekend, which included the shows and Gala Banquet on the Saturday, and Seminars on the Sunday. There were guest Judges from all over the world and from all different Registries, and in thirteen years of showing I can’t remember the UK ever hosting this before, so it was bound to be a very special weekend. It was a very large show with great stalls and was well thought out to accommodate the show theme of Casino Royale. There were talks given to the audience seated in the arena seating in the morning and in the afternoon a flutter in the shows own ‘Casino’ saw me flitter away $3000 (imaginary I might add), in chips! Zsami had a very successful day winning BOB in both shows and being awarded
Reserve Imperial Grand Premier by his South African Judge in the World Cat Show.
We stayed at a lovely Days Inn hotel on both Friday and Saturday night and on Sunday we had a leisurely drive down to Oxford where Zsami and I visited my Auntie Joan who resides in a care home. The residents and the staff were overjoyed to meet Zsami and he loved all the attention. We are going to visit another home in the next few weeks to visit an uncle. Perhaps Zsami has found a future career as a therapy cat after he retires from showing!

WOW, wow, wow – what a show!!!
I was absolutely astounded when Zsami won the title of National Winner. This is a new title and Zsami
was the very first cat of Category 3 to receive it, and one of only two cats to be awarded and currently hold the title.
His main judging was by Stephe Bruin from the Netherlands. She just loved him and I was gushing inside at her lovely comments!
She awarded him his International Grand Premier Certificate, and she then went on to award him the Nomination
to go forward to the BIS at the end of the day.
As usual, the hall was buzzing as the cats were placed in their pens and the BIS judging began. When the Category 3 neuter section cats were put on the podium for judging by the four International Judges, Zsami was unanimously voted the BIS Male Neuter and then unanimously voted BIS Neuter. I was over the moon and so proud of this lovely boy who has been such a pleasure to show over the past three years. I was given my rosette and goodie bag by John and told not to go anywhere but he wouldn’t say why … bewildering!! It did not occur to me for one minute that the announcement would come that Zsami was the winner of a National Winners title and I accepted the fabulous rosette in a state of shock.
It was a fabulous day and I was delighted to help out on the show table with the paperwork while Zsami had his daytime nap.
Thank you to the show team and show Manager Josie Hughes who’s lovely smile never fails to light up a
Fife show hall and make everyone feel so welcome!
Although I have been showing with Fife for about ten years, it had only been one show a year with my lovely Ziggi, but over the past year
I have really enjoyed the Fife show format as it has been a real pleasure to show my super laid back Zsami who has really
taken to the laid back and relaxed atmosphere of Fife showing.
Thank you very much for such a fabulous show!!

THE GCCF SUPREME CAT SHOW
HELD AT THE NEC IN BIRMINGHAM ON THE 24th NOVEMBER 2012
What a great day for Zsami at the GCCF Supreme Cat Show!!
Despite fantastic competition, Zsami did it and was awarded his 4th
** IMPERIAL GRAND PREMIER CERTIFICATE**
He behaved beautifully as usual, and a lovely comment from the Judge, Val Anderson-Drew, who said what a laid back boy he is.
I also enjoyed the show, and as the newly appointed Hon. Secretary of the Bengal Cat Club,
I did my stint on the club table and am glad to say my peasant feather cat teasers sold out with an order for more!

This is the first show I have done this Tica show season and I had such a good time catching up with friends and showing off Zsami.
He had a lovely weekend and ended up with three finals - 4th, 5th and 8th Best Alter,
and it really boosted his points tally, so I was really chuffed.

**BEST IN SHOW FOREIGN NEUTER**
WOW!!! Zsami had a super day at the South Western Counties show in Taunton,
gaining his third Imperial Grand Premier Certificate, Best of Breed and then going on to win Best in Show Foreign Neuter!
I was so chuffed that he was chosen and want to thank the Judge, Mrs Carol Jones, so much for thinking him so worthy.
She came up to me later and said what a lovely cat he was and how well he had matured, which meant so much to me.
Zsami also came first in two of his three side classes and was second in his third – so almost a red card day!
I spent the day helping the show team with table work and had such a great time
and the day was topped off nicely with me winning first prize in the raffle. A fantastic day!

Zsami had a great weekend at Moulton College for the FIFe Garden of England’s special Olympic themed two-day show.

to celebrate the shows once only Olympic theme, and on Sunday he was awarded his third International Premier Certificate.
My thanks to the Judges who thought him worthy of his Certificates and also to the show team who put on such a splendid show.
The show was held at Moulton College near Northampton and as usual Zsami took the long journey there and back
in his stride and settled down in his large travel pen without uttering a sound either there or back.
Here are some photos of his day of being judged and hogging my chair for an afternoon catnap!

**INTERNATIONAL PREMIER CERTIFICATE**
Zsami has just returned from a very successful weekends showing at the Fife Aristocats CC show in Lutterworth.
It was further than our usual show distance but I’m delighted to announce that Zsami
gained his third Fife Premier Certificate on Saturday, and soo gaining his new title of Fife Premier.
My thanks go to Belgium Judge Lili Anciau for thinking him worthy to win the Certificate.
This was a very special win for me, as Zsami is now only the second Bengal ever to be titled by all three registries.
The first was my own dear Ziggi who I’m sure was looking down and rooting for his pal Zsami!
The end of Zsami’s written report (the bit relating to my efforts in presentation!), read:
“Well presented for the show. Super young man”
Sunday saw Zsami move up a class and awarded his first Fife International Premier Certificate
and my thanks go out to UK judge Janet Green. The end on her report reads:
“Calm and well shown, a credit to owner”.
We had a great weekend and thanks go to the organisers for making it such a lovely show.

MIDLAND COUNTIES CC SHOW
HELD IN WOLVERHAMPTON ON THE 20th MAY 2012
Zsami is awarded
*BEST OF BREED*
I rarely venture up past Bristol to shows but this show was fantastic. A super show hall which was just the right
temperature for the cats and loads of room to spread out and get my chair out for a sit down in the afternoon.
Although Zsami was not lucky enough to win a Certificate today it was more than made up for by a super Best of Breed win.
The rest of the cats in the line up consisted of no less than three fabulous Imperial Grand Premiers and two youngsters.
It was a wonderful feeling to know that the Judge thought so highly of him to place him above such illustrious competition.

HELD IN WOKING ON THE 17th MARCH 2012
Zsami is awarded
*BEST OF BREED*
I was really delighted with this as there was a large class of super Bengals in the class in the running for Best of Breed.
Great show but an horrendous journey home when somehow I managed to misread a diversion sign, ended up an
hour out of my way before getting back on the A303 five miles BEFORE the road I wrong on in the first place! (??)
So in the end it took four and a half hours to get back to relax with a bottle of wine and something
pretending to resemble Chicken Korma in the form of a 'ready meal'!
Zsami was glad to get out of the car and spent over and hour with his pal Keeto chasing each other around the house before bedtime.

TICA WESTICAT CC SHOW
HELD IN TAUNTON ON THE 4th & 5th FEBRUARY 2012
Zsami gains the title of:
**QUADRUPLE GRAND CHAMPION ALTER**
Zsami and I had a wonderful time at Westicat’s ‘Movie Magic’ show in Taunton.
Superbly run by Jen and the show team, it was I think, the most enjoyable Tica show I’ve been to.
Zsami as usual was so relaxed and as always it was a pleasure to have such an affable cat to show.
On day one he was awarded Best in Colour, Best in Division and Best of Breed in four of the six rings.
and on day two the same in one of the six rings plus the Alter Congress which, due to the low cat count, did not follow on to a final.
He was placed in two Finals during the weekend one 4th Best Alter and one 5th Best Alter, giving him the extra final
and points he needed to gain his new Title of Quadruple Grand Champion Alter!!!
SO proud of him!!
Here he is sitting in his themed ‘Lawrence of Arabia’ show pen.

Zsami is awarded the
**GRAND PREMIER CERTIFICATE**
**GRAND PREMIER CERTIFICATE**
... and gains the title of:
**GRAND PREMIER**
This was Zsami's first time showing at the Supreme and he certainly didn't let me down! He behaved beautifully and
I was delighted when Judge Mrs. Wilding awarded him his third Grand Premier Certificate.
She wrote a wonderful report which arrived on top of my pen a little while later in the day: -
Overall Impression:
"Handsome chap and mature. Typical Bengal looks and temperament."
Head (including eyes and ears):
"Very good, well balanced head, just slightly longer than wide.
Good profile and firm chin. Ears good size, shape and setting. Lovely eyes."
Body (including legs and tail):
"Strong body of good length and well muscled.
Medium legs, good bone. Firm paws and very good tail."
Coat (including colour and pattern):
"Excellent texture, very good colour and lovely spots."
General Remarks (including condition and temperament):
"Elegant, typey, very friendly and shown in lovely condition. A pleasure to judge."
Zsami was able to relax for the rest of the day after his judging and to give him a bit of a break I put on his new walking jacket.
It was the first time he's worn it in public and when I put him on the floor it created quite a crowd.
We had a little walk and he spotted a shopping bag on the floor beside it's owner and Zsami proceeded to dive in it and try to rip open the
cat food bag inside! I had to quickly separate the two and take him back to his pen before he got himself into any more mischief!
Here are some photos of his Supremely Grand day out!

What a fabulous weekend Zsami and I had! It was the annual Regional Awards show and on the Saturday night the
Regional Awards were presented at a spectacular Banquet held at the Hilton Hotel in Bracknell.
Zsami and I treated ourselves to a nights stay at the hotel, so I didn't have far to crawl at the end of the nights revelries!
Zsami was so chilled during the show, and as you can see from the photos, was a delight to judge, showing himself off perfectly.

BENGAL CC SHOW
HELD IN CRICKLADE ON THE 23rd JULY 2011
Another great show held by the Bengal Cat Club! Even though Zsami didn’t have the best of days results wise,
he was once again beautifully relaxed throughout and made me very proud of him.
Congratulations on Zsami’s father, Typhast Greatballsofire gaining his fifth Imperial Grand Champion Certificate
earning him the title of Imperial Grand Champion and also his Grandfather, Imperial Grand Champion Typhast Hurricane,
not only did he win the very first Olympian Imperial Grand Champion Certificate won at the BCC show, but also going on to win Overall Best in Show!!
Congratulations to Barrie and Rosie on your fabulous cats!

I felt very privileged that the Show Manager, Elaine Robinson, added the Ziggi Memorial Class
to this years show as a one off class to honour the memory of my lovely boy Ziggi. At sixteen competitors I think it is a record
for the number of entrants in a class at a BCC show. Everyone, both exhibitors and judges remembered him with great fondness.
The class was judged by the Chairman of the GCCF, Mrs Helen Marriott-Power and I was delighted to present Julie Hyland, owner of the winner,
Typhast Xerxes, with the Ziggi Memorial Trophy, a beautiful rosette, a £10 M&S voucher, a bottle of Cava and a packed ‘goody bag’.
The second and third placed winners won rosettes and little gifts and every entrant had a little cat toy to thank them for entering.

1st TYPHAST XERXES owned by Julie Hyland
2nd WOYWOY MILLIE owned by Mandy Donald
3rd IG PR KALUKIKATZ ARABESQUE owned by Sonia Lee
Well done to you all, it was a lovely class and it made the show very special for me.
WILTSHIRE & DISTRICT CC SHOW

Zsami wins the:
**RESERVE GRAND PREMIER CERTIFICATE**
A lovely show, superbly organised by joint Show Managers Elaine Robinson and Jackie Pell.
I was delighted, after seeing the impressive lineup of seven candidates competing for this Award,
that the Judge awarded Zsami the Reserve Grand Premier Certificate.
Once again, I'm so delighted with the relaxed way this lovely boy copes with his show days.
Well done Zsami - I'm so proud of you!

TICA WESTICAT CC SHOW
HELD IN BRISTOL ON THE 9th & 10th APRIL 2011
This show was a bit of a last minute entry for Zsami and I as another show we were booked into was cancelled at the eleventh hour.
I was delighted we were able to get our entry in on time and a mad search on the internet found a lovely B&B to spend Saturday night in.
It was a fabulous show held in a super venue which was one of the best venues I've been to.
Show Manager Jen Dinham did a superb job of the organisation and smooth running of the show.
Zsami did superbly over the two days with results as follows:
6 x Best of Colour
4 x Best of Division
3 x Best of Breed
3 x FINALS - 3rd Best SP Alter, 4th Best SP Alter & 5th Best SP Alter

TICA CATTICA CC SHOW
HELD IN NEWBURY ON 5th & 6th FEBRUARY 2011
Zsami gains the title of:
**CHAMPION ALTER**
This was Zsami's very first Tica show so I was a bit apprehensive as to how he would enjoy his first two day show!
No need to have worried though as he really enjoyed the experience and behaved perfectly for the judges and even had the audience laughing at his
antics on the cat scratch post at one of the rings. He climbed up it and was about to go over the top and down the other side when the judge decided
that it was time to get him off to have a proper look at him - it was quite a tussle!
It was lovely to see friends that I don't see at GCCF shows and to spend the weekend with my friend Dawn from Southampton
who took the lovely HHP Louie who actually ended the weekend a Double Grand Champion Master!! Well done Louie.
At the end of the weekend I added up all his points and was delighted that he had gained his first Tica title.
A huge thank you to the six International judges. Here are a few photos of Zsami's weekend.

Ziggi....Best of Breed 2008 and 2009. Well ... the baton has truly been handed over from my lovely Ziggi, who sadly passed away
last month, to his friend, the very handsome Zsami, Best of Breed winner 2010. I'm sure Ziggi was there in spirit smiling down on him!
Zsami really loved his day at this most prestigious of shows and despite a very strong line up of cats entered in the
Grand Premier class (all Bengals), Zsami was awarded his first Grand Premier Certificate by Mrs Green, the Judge.
This was his first outing in the Grand Premier class, so I was thrilled to be taking home the Certificate and such a beautiful rosette.
Open Class Judge Mrs Ashmore judged the same 3 cats plus a beautiful female Bengal & awarded BOB to Zsami - I was so proud of him.
Zsami really is a pleasure to show as he is so relaxed and gentle and I couldn't have wished for a better traveller,
a real bonus for someone who does so much travelling around the country to indulge in such a satisfying, (though very expensive!), hobby.
People who learn of my hobby often ask how much I win and are very surprised when I say that all I bring home are
fancy rosettes and Certificates and perhaps a couple of bags of cat food for an illusive Best in Show win.
In fact, I'm very much against monitory gain for wins, as this pleasurable hobby is all about fun and friendship. Long may it stay that way!!

All of them also had a fantastic day and we all went home feeling very pleased with the days events!

sami had a fabulous day at his Bengal Cat Club show debut, coming 1st in his Open class and going on to be awarded Best of Breed.
A huge thank you to judge Mrs. Harper for thinking so highly of him. He did very well in his side classes being awarded 1st in a
very large class in the BCC club members class and winning 3 x 2nd places in his other classes.
His sister Typhast Zeenna was unfortunately absent so we were unable to compete in the prestigious Prefix Brace.
A shame as I was really looking forward to seeing his sister.
As usual Zsami was the perfect travel companion and settled down without a sound both there and back.
On Friday night we stayed in a hotel and it was his first night away and he thought it great fun and behaved beautifully.
It was lovely to see both old and new friends and always nice to see those cats and kittens in the flesh that I had only
previously seen on websites or in results. Rosie and Barrie, Zsami's breeders were there, and they were obviously very proud of
how their little bay has turned out - he is a real credit to them.
Congratulations go to Mrs Bunyan who was this years winner of my very own Bengie Memorial Cup.
Zsami was the other kitten in the running to win this but the very handsome Adecish Cheviot Charmer was the well deserved winner.
His sire and dam are also from the Typhast cattery so I'm very pleased that it is in the family so to speak!
Once again, the show was organised superbly by Elaine and John Robinson, daughter Lisa and their very
efficient Team Robinson. Thank you for a super show.
I celebrated Ziggi's retirement by officially announcing it with a full page in the show's catalogue and thanked the Judges for thinking so highly of him over the years with 80 show certificates to his name which included Merits, Provisional, Premier, Grand and Imperial certificates. This also included his Fife Certificates that made him up to International Premier and his Tica Champion Alter certificate. He is enjoying his retirement enormously and waits in anticipation for Zsami and I to return from shows as he knows there are always post show treats on offer!!
As for me? Well, I won four prizes in the raffle.... two of which I had donated myself!! I also won a bottle of wine and something in a
black box that said 'A Spell to Cure a Hangover' which I've no doubt will come in very handy!

The Bristol and District CC show was Zsami’s second show and the competition in the kitten classes was very, very strong.

HELD IN PAIGNTON ON 5th APRIL 2010
**Zsami attends his very first show!**
**SECOND OPEN**
Zsami attended his very first show today and his entire day was just perfect. He purred and played and took everything in his stride like a real pro.
When the time came for everyone to leave the hall for the judging to start I had no hesitation in relaxing in the knowledge that
little Zsami would be the perfect little gentleman. He was by far the smallest amongst a very mature class of lovely kittens
and he was placed 2nd in his Open and also awarded a 2nd and a 4th in his side classes.
